We here at the Suez Canal Medical Students’ Association have cooked up;
“SCMSA 11th Summer School on Infectious Diseases
and Tropical Medicine”
With just the right amount
of
each of these secret ingredients;
Business: a once in a lifetime opportunity to get hands on experience
with infectious diseases,
& Pleasure: the opportunity to explore the treasures of Egypt .

The courses will be based on labs, clinics, lectures and seminars.
All will be Given by Professors at the Faculty of medicine, Suez Canal University .
Time:
12th to the 26th of July, 2008
(Plus an optional 5 days trip to Sharm El Sheik, so the whole thing ends on the 31st of
July)
Number of Participants:
25 up to 30 students maximum “so hurry up reserve your place!”
Deadline for Applications:

Course Fee:
· 280 euros (early registration)
· 300 euros (registration after deadline or upon arrival)
For accompanying persons, their registration fees are:
· 300 euros (early registration)

· Scientific course (lectures &labs &clinical hospital visits )

stars hostel in Ismailia, Egypt· Breakfast and lunch.

· A Full Day trip to Cairo to visit the most important touristic places there like
Pyramids,Egyptian
museum,Nile cruise,khan elkhalili,El hussien street……&much much more…
· A Trip to Alexandria to visit many marvelous monuments up there…
· 3 Half day trips to Dream land & Dream park, Port Said,10th of October War
Memorial…

Optional Social Program:
Optional trips will be organized to different cities and regions in Egypt such
as Sharm El sheik, Hurghada, Sinai & Luxor.

Who Do we accept ?
· The course is made mainly for medical students (of any year of study ).
· But we don’t say no to pharmaceutical or dentistry students.
· We also accept young doctors in 2 years of their graduation.
Required Equipment:
A white coat and a stethoscope.
A camera will come in handy as well!
Climate and Clothing:
The weather is sunny & warm in July; the average temperature ranges
from 28 to 35°c, being one of the most beautiful
countries during this period of the
year.

Medical Sciences that will take place from June 3rd until June 6th, 2008 in Groningen,
The Netherlands. The primary aims of the congress are to offer a venue for student
research exchange, get medical students acquainted with research, and to support
student research.

Mission Statement
The primary aims of the congress are to offer a venue for student research exchange,
get medical students acquainted with research, and to support student research. By
offering an attractive programme of oral presentations, poster sessions and workshops,
young researchers from different countries will be able to exchange their work and
share new ideas and views. By offering such a meeting place, the congress pursues to
stimulate international co-operation between research groups that actively stimulate
student participation in their research. Thereby the congress provides a starting point
for interested and talented students to pursue a career in medical research.
Setting
The setting for the congress is Groningen, a city that is breathing student life, and is
famous for its University, that is one of the oldest in The Netherlands. We also offer an
extended social programme that exists of multiple events in this dynamic city, spread
over the congress days. The programme ends with a post-congress tour, in which you
can see a little more of The Netherlands accompanied by the organisation of ISCOMS
2008!

As part of our strategy aiming at widespread international representation of the 16th
Annual International Ain Shams Medical Students' Congress, we are kindly asking you

Along the past years, Ain Shams University Students' Scientific Society has annually
organized one of the world's major events in the field of medical research. The 16th

European Students' Conference (ESC)

The European Students Conference (ESC) is one of the largest biomedical conferences
worldwide and has been one of the main events at the Charité for many years. In
October 2007 this conference will be held for the 18th time. The ESC is a forum for
